What type of Wi-Fi wireless network card do I need?
Ponca City Free WiFi can be accessed by just about any network card. Typically it uses 802.11 B or G but if you buy an 802.11 A or N card it should work as well as almost every card on the market is backward compatible. So if you buy a 802.11 G it will work on A and B as well. If you buy a 802.11 N wireless card it will work on A, B, and G as well. So what is the difference? Typically a 802.11 N card has a stronger radio in it so even though Ponca City Free WiFi does not use N the N card will work in G or B mode automatically and have a stronger signal.
