We believe Successful Aging involves three types of actions:
- An attempt to avoid disease and disability by making good lifestyle choices.
- Staying as active as possible both physically and mentally.
- Staying involved with other people and with life.
We invite you to make these actions a regular part of your life.
We welcome you to the Senior Center and we encourage you to share your suggestions and comments. The Senior Center
has billards, Big screen TV, movies, games, daily lunch service, Internet access, meeting rooms. It is handicap accessible.
The monthly Senior Center Newsletter
contains a calendar, news, information on this month's programs, and more.
Working together with Wheatheart the Ponca City Senior Center is one of the best centers in the state. Wheatheart provides meals at the Senior Center Monday through Friday, except on holidays. Reservations are made the day before for the next day’s meal. Weekly menu is posted at the Senior Center and in the Sunday edition of The Ponca City News.
Programs are coordinated and developed for the Senior Center as well as throughout our community.
We partner with other senior programs in Ponca City and the surrounding area in an effort to design programs for successful aging. Partnerships include RSVP and Ponca City Medical Center Senior Circle.
Check the monthly calendar available on this website, at the Senior Center, and Channel 22 on Cable One.
