Recycling Center
The City of Ponca City owns and operates a self service recycling center located at 1001 West Prospect. Customers are required to pre-sort all items, remove all bags and strings, and place all materials in the proper containers. Attendants are available for assistance if needed.

The following items are accepted:
• Cardboard – cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, brown paper bags, boxes, etc.
• Newspaper – the slick inserts do not need to be removed
• Magazines – Magazines, catalogs, or any paper that is slick and shiny
• Office paper – white office paper and all computer paper
• Telephone Books
• Books – books with hardbacks or paperbacks
• Tin & Steel Cans – labels do not need to be removed
• Glasses – any glasses, clay flower pots, ceramics, porcelain, etc.
• Paint – Good usable latex paint only.
The following items are not accepted:
• Wrappers from candy or food
• Carbon paper, facial tissues
• Plastics
• Styrofoam or Packing Peanuts
• Rubber
• Wood
• Fabrics (carpet or clothing)
• Appliances
• Chemicals
• Oil
